Turn Off Facebook Autoplay

I like a humorous animal video as much as the next person, however when my Facebook and Twitter start overflowing with video dishes, news clips, and ads that play automatically, it gets a little draining. For me and my cellular phone data plan, Turn Off Facebook Autoplay.

But it turns out you can easily disable video auto-play, both on the apps and on your desktop (due to the fact that disabling one doesn't impact the other, FYI).

 Turn Off Facebook Autoplay


For desktop or laptop computer

1. Open Facebook, then go to the Settings icon in the top right corner of your browser. When a drop-down menu appears, click on Settings once again.

2. From here, look for the Videos tab in the lefthand column.



3. Next, click the drop-down menu beside Auto-Play Videos. Choose Off.

For the Facebook app

1. Open the Facebook app and click the Settings icon in the bottom ideal corner.

2. Select Settings again and after that Account Settings.

3. Click on Videos and Images.



3. From here, click Autoplay and after that select Never Autoplay Videos. You can likewise choose On Wi-Fi Connections Just if you're just seeking to save information however otherwise don't mind autoplay.


Ways to disable video auto-play on Twitter for desktop or laptop computer.


1. Open Twitter and click on Profile and Settings, represented by a little thumbprint of your profile picture in the top right corner.
