I can attempt to comprehend about Facebook, Yahoo wants part of that audience and traffic to remember the emails developed probably so they can utilize Facebook.
What Yahoo dosn't truly get is that many of those individuals have no use for email. Today's youth, a lot of illiterate inbred, Tokio Hotel idiots don't write emails, the longest sentences they use noise like: how r u?, how was r day?, u r gr8, I ♥ you, dudeee, lol, wtf and plm( Romanian audience only).
And as they're investing their pointless time growing crops on Facebook (Hell if I get that video game ... but we'll talk about virtual rednecks in a future post) why would they ever need e-mail?!
However what about Google? After nearly 7 years of being dominated by Gmail, Yahoo lastly decided to surrender and cut their losses. It's not that bad of a plan actually, instead of having their users go and make their own google accounts and leave totally, they can now utilize google docs and maps and other apps (not wave) and still take pleasure in the comfort of their sluggish paced yahoo mail. However still. enabling your users to visit with among your greatest rival, need to be among the mind blowing concepts of their own bullshit moron.
Google on the other hands are keeping their sure and stable course to global dominance. Apparently quickly they will use this service to other e-mail companies (like windows live:D) And pretty quick you will log into most website utilizing dear old Google. Easy for you, FANTASTIC for them!
