To create a private Facebook group, create the group and set the privacy to closed or secret, depending on your preference. Private Groups On Facebook, In a closed group, just existing members can see exactly what is posted, but anybody can ask or be welcomed to sign up with, and anyone can see the group's name and members. A secret group is totally private and members should be invited. See information in # 2 listed below.
Instructions
1. Click the blue down arrow on top right of Facebook and select Develop Group

Select your group choices: enter your group name, add group members, then pick the privacy settings for your group (see Figure 2). For personal privacy setting information, click here.

- Click Produce.
- Once you produce your group, you personalize it by publishing a cover photo and including a description.
Other tips.
1. Search to Facebook.com and sign in to your account.
2. Click the "Create Group" alternative in the left sidebar on your Facebook homepage. If this option does not appear, click the blue "See All" link in the menu to expose the "Produce Group" alternative.
3. Type a name for your new group into the "Group Name" field.
4. Enter the names of Facebook pals and contacts that you wish to invite to the secret group in the "Members" input field. Only the buddies that you invite will be able to see and access the group.
5. Click the "Personal privacy" pull-down menu at the bottom of the dialog box and select "Secret." Click the blue "Create" button to create your secret Facebook group.
