How to Turn Autoplay Off On Facebook

I love a hilarious pet video as much as the next individual, however when my Twitter and facebook start overflowing with video recipes, news clips, and advertisements that play immediately, it gets a little draining pipes. For me and my mobile phone data plan, How To Turn Autoplay Off On Facebook.
But it turns out you can easily disable video auto-play, both on the apps and on your desktop (because disabling one doesn't impact the other, FYI).
Don't worry, you can still decide to play videos, like the clip of those red pandas frolicking in the snow, as lot of times as you choose (14 in my case, but who's counting?).

For desktop or laptop computer
1. Open Facebook, then go to the Settings icon in the leading right corner of your browser. When a drop-down menu appears, click on Settings once again.
2. From here, try to find the Videos tab in the lefthand column.

3. Next, click the drop-down menu beside Auto-Play Videos. Choose Off.
For the Facebook app
1. Open the Facebook app and click the Settings icon in the bottom right corner.
2. Choose Settings once again and after that Account Settings.
3. Click on Videos and Pictures.

3. From here, click Autoplay and then select Never Autoplay Videos. You can also select On Wi-Fi Links Just if you're simply looking to save information however otherwise don't mind autoplay.

2. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Settings.
3. Scroll down to Content and try to find Video Tweets. Make certain package for Video Autoplay is unchecked.
