How Do I Hide My Photos On Facebook. Everyone likely has a few pictures resting on their iPhone they 'd rather no one else see, whether it's humiliating selfies, poorly filtered or modified photos, an image of a receipt or personal documentation, or anything else in the world of personal photos.
Those photos can make revealing someone another picture on your iPhone (or iPad) an uncomfortable experience, as you're hoping they don't start browsing your Electronic camera Roll to find that terrible picture of you after winning the pie eating contest. Luckily the newest versions of iOS include a new way to alleviate that potential awkwardness by concealing select images.
How Do I Hide My Photos On Facebook
The picture concealing feature needs to be made it possible for separately for each photo, as it's set on a per-image basis. At the minute there is no bulk conceal function like there is with the ability to bulk remove a bunch of pictures at one time, so you may wish to get in the habit of regularly hiding the photos you do not want to appear in your basic images app views.
Note this function is readily available only to iOS 8 and more recent, and though we're going to concentrate on the iPhone here, it works the same on the iPad and iPod touch too.
Hiding a Picture in iOS
- Open Pictures and go to Electronic camera Roll or Albums as typical
- Tap on the image you wish to hide, this will open it as normal
- Tap and hang on the photo itself to raise an action menu, pick "Hide".
- Validate that you desire to hide the photo by tapping "Conceal Image".

Now that a photo or lots of are hidden, they'll become unnoticeable to the Collections, Years views, and rather are positioned in a different "Covert" album.
Accessing Your Hidden Photos in iOS.
- Open the Photos app and tap on "Albums" view.
- Locate in the list of Albums the folder called "Hidden" (keep in mind the thumbnail is not automatically generated for that folder, offering additional personal privacy).
- Discover your concealed photos in the Hidden Album.
This is where all of your surprise photos will be saved.

Keep in mind that while a picture is hidden, it can still be shared or sent through messages as normal, as long as you access it from this surprise album.
Unhiding an Image in iOS.
- From the Concealed photo album, tap on the picture you want to unhide.
- Tap and hold on the picture and choose "Unhide" from the submenu that appears.

This sends the photo back to the general Camera Roll and it ends up being available to all albums and collections views again.
Is the Image Really Surprise on the iPhone? Sort of.
It's crucial to understand how the conceal photo function works: the picture( s) are hidden from the camera roll, Moments, Collections, and Year view, but are still visible in a photo album not-so-discretely called "Hidden". To puts it simply, while this is extremely effective at concealing photos from casual iPhone usage and from turning through your pictures in iOS, anyone who knows to search for the 'Hidden' album can still view the hidden images.
This is a decent method of managing your really personal photos, however if you're concerned about someone discovering the Hidden pictures album, think about using the send-to-self trick to prevent offering image album and video camera roll access, or maybe simply message them the pictures rather.
