Erase Notifications On Facebook

Edit
Erase Notifications On Facebook, Facebook can send you notifications via email or text for practically every possible interaction on its website. The alerts can inform you if you've got a new message, were mentioned in a post, tagged in an image or discuss your wall; to name a few things. You'll also see these interactions when you visit to Facebook. If you wish to get rid of particular notices, you can pull out by modifying your alert settings. Pop-up notifications that appear while you're logged in can be erased immediately.
Erase Notifications On Facebook
Action 1. Log into your Facebook account.
Action 2. Click the "Account" link, located on top right corner of the page. Click "Account Settings" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Account Settings" page is displayed.
Action 3. Click "Alerts" from the menu on the left side of the page. The "Notifications Settings" page is displayed.
Action 4. Scroll to the "All Notices" area of the page. A list of all alerts types appears, each with a check box beside it. Notices you are signed up for will have a check in package, either under the "Email" column or the "Mobile" column.
Action 5. Click the inspected box beside each notification type you want to eliminate. This will eliminate the check mark from package and eliminate you from receiving the selected notice.
While there are workarounds to all such scenarios, they require a few additional clicks and tweaking with settings you might not want altered (not everybody wishes to stop their pals from being able to tag them at all!). Thanks to the current modification to Facebook's notification drop down, you can pull out of notices right from within the panel itself.
Now, when you hover over a notice product, you'll notice a little cross appearing in the top-right corner. Bring your mouse cursor over this cross, and appropriate choice will be displayed. For instance, if it's a notification from an app, person or group, you can basic turn those off, and they'll never trouble you once again.
If you decide to switch off a notification, a confirmation box will appear, asking you to verify the action. This is to avoid any accidental dismissals-- something that I think Facebook has done right.
Depending on the type of alert, the choices will vary. For example, if it's an alert of talk about a post that you have actually been tagged in, instead of turning it off, you'll be able to Unfollow the post, thus eliminating any subsequent notifications from the same.
So, that's about it. Facebook might have a great deal of irksome "features" still up its sleeves when it comes to user experience, but this is something they've done right, and for that factor, we appreciate and welcome the enhanced notice control. You have had comparable experiences? Share with us in the remarks listed below.
