So you got married, and now your name on Facebook doesn't connect to your new name. This post will discuss How Do You Change Your Name In Facebook, and still be able to have individuals browse for you under your previous maiden name.

1. Go to the Facebook site in your web internet browser. Log in with your username and password, if you have not kept the information for later usage.
2. Click the button marked "Account" in the top-right corner of your Facebook screen, and click the "Account Settings" button from the drop-down list.
3. Click the "Edit" connect to the right of the row marked "Call" which displays your previous (now first) name.
4. Change your name in the "last" name box, to read your new "married" name.
5. Type your complete maiden (first and last) name into the "Alternate name" box. The next line identified "Alternate name" is for your maiden name.For example, if your first name is Christina Lee and your married name is Christina Smith, do not type Christina Lee-Smith. Simply type "Christina Lee" in this "Alternate name" box.
6. Click the "Conserve changes" button.
7. Type your existing Facebook password in the "Password" box below these entries.
8. Click "Save modifications" one more time. It's all done and now individuals can discover you either by your first name or your married name.
